Direct From My Kitchen To Yours...!
After our co-founder Katie had her first child, she got sick -- and it launched her into a years-long journey to figure out what was wrong with her and how to get better.
Pulling from her journalism background (and experience writing for her blog Wellness Mama), Katie spent thousands of hours reading studies and researching ingredients. She even went back to school to study nutrition and learned that she needed to avoid the harmful ingredients that were common in most personal care products because they seemed to make her condition worse.
Katie found that making her own personal care products from scratch was the only way to avoid harmful ingredients. In the process, she used her newfound passion for nutrition as the foundation to create recipes that went beyond safe -- they nourished the body from the outside in. And she couldn’t believe the results.
